Branding & Logo Design

Branding & Logo Design That Looks Credible Everywhere

A logo is only the visible tip of a brand. We build the mark, the colours, the type and the rules that hold it all together, so your business looks like the same company on your website, your van and your invoice.

What's Included

What a branding project actually covers

Every project is scoped to what your business needs, but most branding work covers the same four building blocks.

Logo design & variations

An icon-only mark, a horizontal lockup and a stacked version, so your logo works in a square social avatar and a wide website header without ever being squeezed or cropped badly.

Colour palette & typography

A defined palette and two or three typefaces chosen to suit how your business actually communicates, not whatever looked nice on a mood board for five minutes.

Brand guidelines document

A short, practical reference covering spacing, colour codes, font pairings and dos and don'ts, so the identity stays consistent across everyone who uses it, not just the person who designed it.

Applied across your touchpoints

Your logo dropped onto a website mockup and social profile, plus print, signage or vehicle livery where relevant, so you can see it working in the real world before anything is signed off.

If a new website is part of the plan, our web design team can build it around the identity from the outset rather than retrofitting it later.

Our Process

How a branding project runs

1

Discovery & research

We talk through your business, your customers and your competitors, and look at what's already working, or not, in your sector.

2

Concepts

From that brief we design a small number of genuinely distinct directions, rather than twenty near-identical versions of one idea.

3

Refinement

You choose a direction and we refine the colour, type and layout until it earns its place on your homepage and your headed paper.

4

Final delivery & guidelines

Every file format you need, plus the guidelines document, handed over with no ongoing dependency on us to use your own logo.

Pricing

How much does a logo and brand identity cost?

In the UK, a logo-only project, a redesigned or new mark with basic variations and file formats, typically sits between £450 and £950, depending on how many concepts and revision rounds are included.

A full brand identity package, covering the logo, a proper colour and type system, a guidelines document and applied touchpoints, generally runs from around £1,200 up to £3,500 or more, depending on how many applications need designing and how much upfront research the project calls for.

These figures are general guidance rather than a quote. The right number for your business depends on scope, so we'd rather have a short conversation about what you actually need before putting a price on it.

  • Logo only: from roughly £450–£950
  • Full identity with guidelines & applications: roughly £1,200–£3,500+
  • No lock-in contracts, plain-English scoping

FAQs

Branding & logo design questions

How many logo concepts do I get to choose from?

Most projects include two to three distinct logo directions rather than a long list of near-identical options. We'd rather spend the time developing a small number of genuinely different concepts than pad out a deck.

Do you provide the files I need for printing and my website?

Yes. You get vector files such as AI, EPS and SVG for printers, signwriters and merchandise suppliers, plus web-ready PNG and favicon formats for your website and social profiles.

Can you refresh an existing logo instead of starting from scratch?

Yes. A good amount of our branding work is refining an existing mark rather than replacing it, particularly for businesses that have built up recognition and just need it tidied up and made consistent.

How long does a branding project take?

A logo-only project usually takes two to three weeks. A full identity package with guidelines and multiple applications typically takes four to six weeks, depending on how many touchpoints are involved. Once the guidelines are set, our content marketing team can help make sure the words match the new look.
